Aspiring Athletes in the Northern Inland Region are being given an opportunity of a lifetime to fulfill their dreams of attending the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane through their chosen sport.

The Northern Inland Academy of Sport together with HealthWISE are offering 5 young athletes, symbolising the 5 Olympic Rings, a chance to secure $2000 in scholarship via the Active Champions Fund, to help them pursue their dream sport in time for the 2032 Summer Games.

To be eligible for the fund, athletes must be selected in a NIAS program, reside in and attend a secondary school within the HealthWISE service delivery area and participate in a sport that is included in the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games. Applications for the scholarship open tomorrow Friday August 16^th via the nias.org.au website, with applications to be submitted no later than the 31^{st of} October 2024.
