Former Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall has taken on the role as an independent advisor to New England-based soil, pasture and agronomy business Precision Pastures.
According to the Inverell Times, Mr Marshall will provide strategic guidance and support for the agricultural company, as they develop and implement solutions designed to optimise pasture management and enhance farm productivity.
He will join sustainable agriculture advocate Olivia Lawson in a strategic move to advancing agricultural practices through soil, pasture and carbon farming initiatives, with Mr Marshall saying he is passionate about public policy and how to make things better, seeing significant opportunities and frameworks for producers to maximise production and economic benefits through soil carbon farming.
Mr Marshall will still continue his role as government relations manager with Origin Energy.
